Hi there! I have a DHC as well - bought new in 1976 (for R 175,00) and at that time it was THE bike to have. Unfortunately the bike has taken some beating, with the BB being wobbly, the gears needing some serious attention (never replaced, although I did not ride that much in those days, and the frame is scratched. I am also thinking of turning this into a SS in order to put the bike back on the road - last 500 odd kms was done with the bike on a trainer - just for fun.
Where did you have your bike done?
Regards
Nico
